Direct connection between computers
UDP connects a sender and receiver using Opus or PCM. Choose input, output and quality, and adjust the receive buffer to the needs of the actual network and studio workflow.
Studio and connections / AURA
Connect locations and send your programme to one or more streams.
Studio Link carries audio between computers and connects programme output to internet streaming. Choose a direct studio connection, SRT transport or delivery to Shoutcast and Icecast. Send one input to multiple destinations, each with its own format and controls, and route the receiving side to a prepared audio output.
SPECIFIC CAPABILITIES
UDP connects a sender and receiver using Opus or PCM. Choose input, output and quality, and adjust the receive buffer to the needs of the actual network and studio workflow.
Prepare an Opus link between remote locations with selectable transport latency and an optional shared encryption passphrase. A network path between computers must be configured in advance.
Send the selected programme input to a streaming server as MP3 or AAC. The same module can receive an existing stream and attempt reconnection after a connection loss.
The Multi view shares one audio input across several destinations. Each has its own server, format, bitrate, individual start/stop controls and status display.
Start a local stream for reachable devices on the network. Metadata can read a prepared TXT file containing the artist and title that Playout updates during operation.
BUILT-IN TOOLS AND AREAS
These features belong within this module and support different stages of everyday work.
A separate additional tool for a prepared link between two studios using SonoBus and VoiceMeeter. It monitors an XAir fader and routes agreed stereo paths between programme and off-air monitoring according to saved rules. It offers AUTO and manual state selection, connection monitoring, SonoBus control, instructions and a Log. It is used with configured SonoBus, VoiceMeeter and suitable XAir equipment.
Select the programme input and prepare the receiving computer or streaming server. Connect the destination, check levels and listen to the received audio. If the programme feeds multiple streams, set each format and monitor its status in the shared Multi view.
